1: And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2: And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3: And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4: But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
5: Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6: And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7: And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
8: And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
9: And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10: Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11: And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12: Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
13: But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

1: The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
2: The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.
3: So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; which conceived, and bare him a son.
4: And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.
5: And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel, in the valley of Jezreel.
6: And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away.
7: But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.
8: Now when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son.
9: Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.
10: Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
11: Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

1: The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spake unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal,
2: Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man.
3: I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.
4: Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?
5: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6: Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
7: Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:
8: Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
9: Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
10: Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest he curse thee, and thou be found guilty.
11: There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.
12: There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
13: There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
14: There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.
15: The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough:
16: The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough.
17: The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
18: There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:
19: The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid.
20: Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.
21: For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear:
22: For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with meat;
23: For an odious woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.
24: There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:
25: The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;
26: The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;
27: The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;
28: The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.
29: There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely in going:
30: A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;
31: A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up.
32: If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.
33: Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.
